Distance learning is hard and It has taught me many valuable life skills, like patience, persistence, time management, and understanding. Every academic year concludes with the fourth quarter. Normally, when face-to-face lessons were available in past years, I would be less motivated and industrious during this time. However, I've observed that I'm now more motivated to complete my duties, not only in TLE but in other courses as well.   This quarter feels so short compared to the first one. For 8 weeks, I learned a lot of things from each subjects. But to be honest, I’ve learned more from ICT compared to other subjects because ICT gives us a lot of tasks for each week but it’s not a bad thing since in each tasks, the instructions are as clear as crystal.                   I learned a lot this quarter but understanding lessons, especially from the major subjects was very hard for me because I find it harder when I’m the only one learning/self studying.   Every year, Vigan celebrates Kannawidan and during this competition, the Ilocano people demonstrate cultural displays, native items and the skills of the Ilocanos as well. The Kannawidan Ilocos competition has become an annual associate competition aimed at raising awareness of the preservation of the province's rich cultural heritage, customs and traditions and a display of the various agricultural and agricultural practices.   One of the provinces that is rich when it comes to culture and tradition is Ilocos Sur. The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St. Paul is Vigan City’s patron saint. The fiesta commemorates the town's patron saint, St Paul the Apostle, with a parade, musical performances, beauty contests and cultural shows.                   Biguenos from all over the country and even abroad return to Vigan, as it is the custom of Filipinos to return to their hometown to join their family and friends in the celebration of their fiesta.   I’ve been living in this world for 16 years and the year 2020 is by far the worst year I’ve encountered yet. This is due to the covid-19 quarantine, not able to go outside for months has changed me, my daily routine, etc. turning myself into a shut-in-like person. 2020 was the worst. It’s now 2021, “New Year. New Me” Hoping that I would actually become a more better and respectable person this year. But the things I hope to improve/change isn’t all about me, but also everyone around me(my family, friends, etc). I’m hoping that this year will become one of the best years in my life.                     It was always a face to face class from kinder to highschool but since this pandemic has started we all have no choice but to adjust and get used to this “new normal” learning. During this first quarter, I really learned a lot and discovered many things.                 During this quarter, I encountered problems. Education during the pandemic is hard, but not just on students but the teachers too.             Schools have made up their minds, they either choose modular learning or online classes to secure the safety and future of the students. Both ways are hard because not everyone meet the requirements for it. Like internet connection, devices that can be used for online classes and for searching.
